Formation of new Carrowmoreknock Angling Club
On Wednesday 27th April the inaugural meeting took place in Kelehans public house, Bushypark,Galway at 9pm
Telephone 091 522134 A good place to stop for a break. Not far from Bushypark R.C. Church and cemetary.
An angling club has been meeting in Carrowmoreknock for over 35 years totally unaware their club name represented a townland  further south along the Corrib. They are still recovering from the shock. That's what Ireland is like! Secretive or tolerant?
The new club wil be dedicated to preserving the environment.

Angling is a very popular pastime in the Corrib area and it is not often a new club is formed but it just goes to show the interest in angling that a new one is being created to cope with the demand.Watch this space!
